Do you have to disclose a DUI on an employment application if the DUI was expunged off your record?

I am applying for jobs and most ask to disclose if you have been convicted of an offense such as driving while intoxicated or driving under the influence. I have had the DUI expunged off my record since 2006. Do I have to disclose that information on the application?

   If it does not show up on a background search, you don’t have to disclose it.

   You better be sure it was expunged before you say no.
