Hi;I live in Canada it is illegal to burn anything without a permit Let alone your home. No insurance company will payout. Is this neighbour for real?

i lived in indiana for 3 years, was amazed at the laws they did not have that have been around forever in other areas of the US.

I'd call the local police dept, and fire dept.... from a pay phone!

Ask town hall....... pay phone call again.

I know the area i lived in houses, barns, sheds, garages were always burned down instead of knocked down.

Weird state.

good luck with whatever you do and remember, even if you burn it, you still gotta clean it up.. and a burnt moblie is harder to clean up then one not burnt.

I doubt if it is legal. Have your cousin Guido do it, then you can collect the insurance.

I would say no, first if it has an insured value and they end up placing a claim it's fraud; secondly, if the city/county was not notified or approved of the planned fire it's probably a civil violation as well. They like to be there to control the situation and not have to dispatch after the fact.
